Marcia has dedicated her career to improving care for people with diabetes. She earned her certification in diabetes education in 1985 and still maintains this credential. As the diabetes educator and case manager at CARITAS Medical Center in Louisville from 1987-1999 Marcia gained valuable experience in outpatient and inpatient diabetes care and management.

She completed her MSN and Adult Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Louisville in 1999. Since that time she has managed diabetes clients in both primary care and endocrinology offices. At Diabetes Care Solutions, PLLC, Marcia plans to specialize in diabetes education and/or management of diabetes care. She is committed to working with physicians and other professionals to provide a team approach to diabetes care.
